SeAp is an independent charity that specialises in the provision of advocacy and related services. Their high quality independent advocacy services support people, especially those who are most vulnerable in society, to have their voice heard, access their rights and have more control over their lives. They provide advocacy support through well-trained and highly-motivated advocates who enable their clients to express themselves, ensuring that everyone who uses health and social care services can have their voice heard on issues that are important to them. SeAp provide training for advocates, volunteers and professionals who need to understand the role of advocacy in health and social care services.
Mindful employer - Qualified Mental Wellbeing workplace training
Investing in mental health awareness training demonstrates that you, as an employer, support your staff in this area of concern, and will also enhance the delivery of your business and the service you provide. Workways, which runs MINDFUL EMPLOYER, offers practical, competitively-priced workshops, designed to increase awareness of mental health among your managers and staff. Our workshops are led by facilitators who will help equip your employees with the tools and knowledge to confidently address workplace issues. We charge by group not per participant and find that a maximum of 15 people per workshop provides the best learning experience. These workshops can be adapted to suit your requirements and are delivered at your premises.
Health Assured – Health Assured – Employee Assistance Programme
An EAP is a personal support programme that can greatly assist employers and their staff to achieve a positive balance in life. The service gives unlimited access to a range of specialist support and information including:
- Telephone support and counselling provided by qualified and experienced therapists
- Up to eight Structured Telephone Counselling (STC) sessions per person, per issue, per annum
- Online Health Portal – healthassuredeap.co.uk
The service is completely confidential and can be accessed via a free phone number and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The service is available to employees and immediate family members residing at the same address.
Fit for Work – Government run FREE advice to Employers and Employees
All employers across England and Wales can refer employees who have been off work for four weeks or more for FREE fit for work assessment.
